Sunda White-eye

Zosterops minutus

The Sunda White-eye (Zosterops minutus) is a small passerine bird found in the Sunda region of Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its distinctive white eye-ring, olive-green upperparts, and yellow underparts. These sociable birds are often found in small flocks, foraging for insects and nectar in the canopy of lowland forests and secondary growth. They also occur in gardens and parks. The Sunda White-eye is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard during the breeding season. Despite facing habitat loss and some localized threats, the species is currently not considered at risk and is classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
