Swinhoe's Rail, Coturnicops exquisitus, is a rail of the family Rallidae that breeds in eastern Siberia and northern China. It was first described by Swinhoe in 1873. Its breeding range lies in the Palearctic, and it is recorded from the Amur region between earlier known sites in Manchuria and south-eastern Siberia. The bird was once known from only two localities far apart, but a breeding population was later found in the intervening area. Its name honours the British naturalist Robert Swinhoe.
