Swinhoe's Thrush (Zoothera griseiceps) is a medium-sized thrush found in East Asia. It has a distinctive grey head, olive-brown upperparts, and a white belly with dark spots. This species is known for its melodious and flute-like song, often heard in dense forests and wooded areas. Swinhoe's Thrush is a migratory bird, breeding in the forests of eastern Russia and northeastern China, and wintering in southern China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. It forages on the forest floor for insects, earthworms, and berries. Despite facing threats from habitat loss and deforestation, the conservation status of Swinhoe's Thrush is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
