Tacazze Sunbird, Nectarinia tacazze, is a bird of the eastern Afromontane forests in north-eastern and eastern Africa. It belongs to the sunbird family, Nectariniidae, and was described by Stanley in 1814. Its breeding range is in Africa: ne, e. It occurs in evergreen forest, mountain woodland and places with scattered trees. It is also recorded from districts such as Degua Tembien in north Ethiopia. The bird takes its name from the Tacazze, or Tekezé, River.
