Tachira Antpitta, Grallaria chthonia, is a passerine of the Grallariidae family found in western Venezuela, in a very small part of Táchira near the Colombian border. It lives in thick, mossy cloudforest undergrowth at 1,800 to 2,100 m. The species is known from a handful of records in the same area where it was first collected in the 1950s and later seen again in 2016. It is resident within its range. Its breeding biology is not known, and its voice has only a few recordings.
