Taczanowski's Ground Tyrant, Muscisaxicola griseus, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family that breeds in Peru and Bolivia. It was described by Taczanowski in 1884 and is now treated as a separate species. It lives along the Andes, where it uses puna and páramo grassland, and also drier open ground with little cover. In Peru it occurs from 3,200 to 4,800 m, while in Bolivia it is recorded down to 2,700 m. It is a year-round resident and is monotypic.
