Tagula Manucode is a bird-of-paradise in the family Paradisaeidae, found on Tagula in the Louisiade Archipelago east of south-eastern New Guinea. It is the form Manucodia alter, described by Rothschild and Hartert in 1903. This bird is associated with the island’s breeding range and has sometimes been treated as a separate species. It belongs to the passerine order and is part of the manucode group. The Tagula population was once regarded as a subspecies of the glossy-mantled manucode.
