Taita Fiscal, Lanius dorsalis, is a shrike of dry open country in south-eastern South Sudan, southern Ethiopia, southern and western Somalia, and north-eastern Tanzania. It is a member of the family Laniidae and was described by Cabanis in 1878. In its range it is linked with thornbush, acacia and other open woodland. The adult is set apart from other black-headed fiscals by its grey back and wing pattern. It is also known for a white V on the back, a white rump, and a long black tail with white outer feathers.
