The Taiwan Bamboo Partridge, scientifically known as Bambusicola sonorivox, is a small ground-dwelling bird endemic to Taiwan. It is characterized by its mottled brown and buff plumage, with a distinctive red bill and legs. This species is known for its secretive behavior, often foraging on the forest floor for seeds, insects, and small invertebrates. The Taiwan Bamboo Partridge inhabits dense, moist forests and bamboo thickets, where it can find cover and feed.
