Taiwan Scimitar Babbler, Pomatorhinus musicus, is a passerine bird of the family Timaliidae and is found in Taiwan. It was first described by Swinhoe in 1859. The species is endemic to Taiwan and was once treated as part of the streak-breasted scimitar babbler. It can be told from that similar bird by its slightly larger build, a longer bill with a fully dark upper half, a dark grey crown rather than brown, and a richer chestnut-brown neck. The belly and flanks are also more strongly washed with chestnut brown.
