Taiwan Thrush

Taiwan Thrush, Turdus niveiceps, is a thrush of the forests of central Taiwan, where it is a rare resident in mountain woodland at 1800–2500 m. It is endemic to Taiwan and belongs to the family Turdidae. The species was once treated as part of the island thrush complex, but genetic work showed it to be separate, and it has a marked difference between the sexes. Males and females are alike in size, at about 22 cm. The bill, legs and feet are yellow.
