The Talaud thrush (Zoothera talaseae) is a medium-sized thrush found in the Talaud Islands of Indonesia. It has a distinctive appearance with a dark brown upper body and a creamy white underbelly. The species is known for its melodious song, often heard in the dense undergrowth of the island's forests. Talaud thrushes are primarily insectivorous, foraging on the forest floor for insects and small invertebrates. Due to habitat loss and limited range, the Talaud thrush is considered vulnerable to extinction.
