Tanimbar Friarbird, Philemon plumigenis, is a honeyeater found in the Kai and Tanimbar Islands of the southern Moluccas. It lives in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. The species was described by George Robert Gray in 1858. It was once treated as part of the Buru Friarbird, but a 2007 study led to its recognition as a separate species.
