Tanner's Wren (Troglodytes tanneri) is a small songbird native to the highlands of central Mexico. It is known for its distinctive and melodious song, often heard in the dense undergrowth of pine and oak forests. This wren is characterized by its brown plumage, with a white belly and prominent white eyebrow stripe. It forages for insects and spiders in the leaf litter and fallen logs, and builds its domed nest in the dense vegetation.
