Thamnornis chloropetoides (Grandidier, A, 1867)

Thamnornis chloropetoides is a passerine of south-west Madagascar, where it breeds in the island’s spiny forest. It belongs to the Bernieridae family and was described by Grandidier in 1867. The bird is greyish above and whitish below, with narrow green edges on the wing feathers and a strong eyebrow stripe. The outer tail feathers end in pale tips. It is also known as the thamnornis or thamnornis warbler. Its natural home is dry forest and dry shrubland in subtropical or tropical areas.
