Thick-billed Spiderhunter, Arachnothera crassirostris, is a bird of the Oriental Region, breeding in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo. It belongs to the sunbird family, Nectariniidae, and was described by Reichenbach in 1853. It is recorded from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Its range includes moist lowland forest and moist montane forest in tropical and subtropical areas. The thick bill is the feature that gives the bird its name.
