Thicket Antpitta, Myrmothera dives, is a bird of Middle America and north-western South America, breeding from eastern Honduras through Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama to western Colombia. It belongs to the antpitta family, Grallariidae. It lives in dense tangles at forest edges, along streams, in young secondary growth and in gaps within mature forest, and it also uses cacao and banana plantations. The species is split into three subspecies, with one in Central America and two in Panama and Colombia.
