Thicket Tinamou, Crypturellus cinnamomeus, is a tinamou in the family Tinamidae and the order Tinamiformes. Its breeding range extends across Middle America from western Mexico to Costa Rica. It is associated with moist forest in subtropical and tropical parts of central Mexico, and its wider range also reaches eastern coastal Mexico and Belize. The species was first described from a specimen collected in La Unión, El Salvador, in 1842. It is one of several subspecies within the species, with forms recorded from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
