Campylorhynchus turdinus (Wied-Neuwied, M, 1821)

Thrush-like Wren, Campylorhynchus turdinus, is a bird of Amazonia in South America and belongs to the wrens, Troglodytidae. It is one of the larger wrens. Its head and mantle are brownish-grey, with dull brown wings and upper tail marked by dense blackish barring. The underparts are whitish and heavily spotted with dusky, apart from the throat. It usually shows a pale eyebrow, a long tail often held cocked, and a fairly long, slightly downcurved bill. It is usually found from mid-levels to the canopy and is often noticed by its loud, complex voice.
