Tickell's Brown Hornbill, Anorrhinus tickelli, is a hornbill of the Oriental Region, breeding in southern Myanmar and south-western Thailand. It lives in evergreen and deciduous hill forest, ranging from foothills up to 1500 m. Also known as the rusty-cheeked hornbill, it is a medium-sized species with dark brown upperparts and red-brown underparts. The male shows brighter rufous cheeks and throat, and young birds of both sexes look like adult males. It breeds cooperatively in groups.
