The Tongan Whistler (Foulehaio procerior) is a small passerine bird native to the Tonga archipelago in the South Pacific. This species is known for its distinctive whistling calls and is often found in the forest understory, where it forages for insects and small fruits. The Tongan Whistler has a mottled brown and white plumage, with a prominent white eyebrow stripe and a slightly curved bill. It is a territorial bird and can be observed singing from perches within its forest habitat. While not currently considered threatened, the Tongan Whistler faces potential habitat loss due to deforestation and invasive species.
