Torrent Flyrobin, Monachella muelleriana, is a passerine in the Australasian robin family and breeds in New Guinea and the Bismarck Archipelago. It is the only species in the genus Monachella. The bird is found in the New Guinea Highlands and on New Britain, where one subspecies occurs in the montane rain forests. Its name reflects its link with fast-flowing streams and rivers, especially places where boulders break the surface. It was described by Schlegel in 1871.
