Torrent-lark, Grallina bruijnii, is a bird of montane New Guinea in Australasia and belongs to the Monarchidae family within the Passeriformes. It is associated with subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. A notable feature of this bird is its mud-built nest, which sets it apart from most other monarchs, whose nests are made from plant material. The species was described by Salvadori in 1876.
