Torresian Imperial Pigeon, Ducula spilorrhoa, is a pigeon of northern Australia, New Guinea and nearby islands, with breeding in north-east Western Australia, the north of the Northern Territory, north Queensland and the Torres Strait Islands, as well as parts of New Guinea and its satellites. It is also known by several other names, including nutmeg pigeon and Torres Strait pigeon. A relatively large pied pigeon, it occurs in forest, woodland, savanna, mangrove and scrub. In Queensland, the population moves to New Guinea from February to April and comes back between July and August.
