Tristram's Sunbird

Tristram's Sunbird is a small bird found in the Middle East and parts of Asia. It has a distinctive long, down-curved bill and is known for its iridescent plumage, with males displaying a metallic green crown and throat, and a dark blue-black belly. Females have a more subdued plumage with olive-green upperparts and yellowish underparts. These sunbirds are often found in arid and semi-arid habitats, including gardens, orchards, and scrublands. They feed on nectar, insects, and spiders. The conservation status of Tristram's Sunbird is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
