Sericornis beccarii Salvadori, 1874
Tropical Scrubwren, Sericornis beccarii, is a passerine of the Acanthizidae family found in New Guinea and north-eastern Australia. It was described by Salvadori in 1874. Its breeding range covers Australasia, including New Guinea and north-eastern Australia. Also known as Beccari's scrubwren, it occurs in tropical moist forest in Queensland, the Aru Islands and southern New Guinea.
