Tsingy Forest Rail, Mentocrex beankaensis, is a bird of west-central Madagascar in dry deciduous forest and limestone karst in the lowlands. It was described in 2011 by Goodman, Raherilalao & Block and belongs to the family Sarothruridae. It is larger than the Madagascar forest rail, and it differs from that species in the colour of the throat, moustachial stripe and area around the eyes. It was once placed in Canirallus, but later moved to Mentocrex.
