Tufted Flycatcher

Anthocephala floriceps

The Tufted Flycatcher (Anthocephala floriceps) is a small passerine bird found in the highland forests of Central and South America. It is known for its distinctive tuft of feathers on the top of its head. This species is often observed perching quietly in the understory, sallying out to catch insects in mid-air.
