Cinnyris infrenatus Hartert, EJO, 1903
Tukangbesi Sunbird, Cinnyris infrenatus, is a passerine of the sunbird family found in the Tukangbesi Islands and other islands off south-east Sulawesi in Australasia. It was first described in 1903 by Hartert. The species is now treated as distinct from the garden sunbird, after having once been placed with that bird as a subspecies. It is the only member of its kind recognised, with no subspecies. Its name is linked to the islands where it occurs, and it is recorded from the Wakatobi group as well.
