Anser serrirostris Gould, 1852
Tundra Bean Goose Anser serrirostris is a goose in the Anatidae family and the Anseriformes order. It breeds in northern Siberia, and its breeding range is given as Palearctic: n. The species is migratory and spends the winter farther south in Asia. It is treated as distinct from the taiga bean goose by the American Ornithological Society and the International Ornithologists’ Union, although some other authorities combine them as bean goose. Two subspecies are recognised: rossicus in northern Russian tundra east to the Taimyr Peninsula, and serrirostris in the East Siberian tundra.
