Ua Pou Monarch, Pomarea mira, is a passerine in the Monarchidae family, found on Ua Pou in the Marquesas Islands of French Polynesia, and perhaps extinct. It was described by Murphy & Mathews in 1928. The bird is associated with moist lowland and montane forest, as well as heavily altered former forest. It was once treated as part of the Marquesan monarch before being recognised as a separate species in 2012. Records suggest it may have disappeared after habitat loss, with later reports remaining unconfirmed.
