Upcher's Warbler

Iduna similis

The Upcher's Warbler (Iduna similis) is a small, insectivorous bird found in Central Asia and parts of the Middle East. It is known for its olive-green upperparts and pale underparts, with a distinct white supercilium and dark eyeline. This species is often found in open woodlands, scrublands, and forest edges, where it forages for insects and spiders. Upcher's Warblers are known for their melodious, warbling song, which they use to establish territories and attract mates during the breeding season. While not currently classified by the IUCN, their populations are believed to be stable across their range.
