Van Hasselt's Sunbird, Leptocoma brasiliana, is a bird of the Oriental Region, ranging from north-east India and east Bangladesh through south-east Asia and the Greater Sundas. It belongs to the sunbird family, Nectariniidae. It is associated with subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and with subtropical or tropical mangrove forest. The species was first described by Gmelin in 1788. It is now placed in the genus Leptocoma, and five subspecies are recognised.
