Vanikoro Monarch, Mayrornis schistaceus, is a bird of the monarch family found in Australasia on Vanikoro and the satellite islet Teanu in the Santa Cruz Islands of Temotu, Solomon Islands. It was described by Mayr in 1933. It is associated with subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest. The bird is also known as the slaty flycatcher, small slaty flycatcher, small slaty monarch and Vanikoro flycatcher, though that last name is shared with another species.
