Vanuatu Imperial Pigeon, Ducula bakeri, is a pigeon of Vanuatu, breeding from the Banks Islands to Ambrym. It lives in forest, mainly in montane areas, and also occurs in lowland sites. The species was first described in 1928 from Santo. It is a restricted-range bird and is affected by forest clearing. Its scientific name honours John Randal Baker, who found the species. The bird is part of the Columbidae family and is known from several of the larger islands in the archipelago.
