Vanuatu White-eye, Zosterops flavifrons, is a passerine of the white-eye family that breeds in Vanuatu. It is found across the islands from the north to the south, and is one of the country’s most familiar birds. The species was first described in 1789 by Gmelin. It lives in forest, plantations and gardens, from sea level up into the mountains. A yellow forehead and a white eye-ring help to identify it, and the adult male has yellow-green upperparts with bright yellow or yellow-green underparts.
