Thamnophilus caerulescens
The Variable Antshrike is a species of bird found in South America. It is known for its distinctive black and white plumage, with the male having a black head and back, and the female having a rufous back. This species is often found in the understory of forests, where it forages for insects and small invertebrates. It is known for its loud, repetitive song, often heard in the early morning. The Variable Antshrike is not currently considered to be at risk and is therefore not listed on the IUCN Red List.
