Variegated Laughingthrush

The Variegated Laughingthrush is a medium-sized bird found in the mountainous regions of Southeast Asia. It has a distinctive patterned plumage, with a combination of brown, black, and white feathers. These birds are known for their melodious calls and are often found in small groups foraging for insects and fruits in the undergrowth. They prefer dense, moist, and mossy forests with thick underbrush, where they can find ample cover and food. The Variegated Laughingthrush is currently listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List, as it has a wide distribution and is not facing significant threats at present.
