Wallacean Island Thrush, Turdus schlegelii, is a thrush of montane Sulawesi and Timor in Australasia. It belongs to the family Turdidae and the order Passeriformes. First described by Sclater in 1861, it was once treated as part of the island thrush complex before being recognised as a separate species. Four subspecies are currently accepted. These are schlegelii from Mount Mutis on Timor, hygroscopus from the Latimojong Mountains on Sulawesi, celebensis from southwest Sulawesi, and sterlingi from Tatamailau in Timor-Leste.
