The Waved Albatross is a large seabird known for its distinctive wavy pattern on the adult's wings. They are primarily found on the Galápagos Islands, where they breed and forage for food. These birds are well adapted for oceanic life, with long, narrow wings that enable efficient gliding and soaring. Waved Albatrosses are known for their elaborate courtship displays, which involve bill-clacking and ritualized dances. They primarily feed on fish and squid, often foraging over the open ocean. Unfortunately, these magnificent birds are currently facing threats from habitat destruction and bycatch in fishing gear.
