Wedge-tailed Green Pigeon, Treron sphenurus, is a pigeon of the Oriental Region, breeding from northern India to central China, through south-east Asia and on to Bali and Lombok in the Lesser Sundas. It belongs to the family Columbidae. Its tail is wedge-shaped. In males, the crown has an orange-rufous tint and the back and scapulars may show maroon, while these features are absent in females. It was described by Vigors in 1832.
