Western Corella, Cacatua pastinator, breeds in south-west, western and south-central Australia. It is a cockatoo of the family Cacatuidae, first described by Gould in 1841. Also called the western long-billed corella, it is a white bird with an upright crest and a long bill. The upper wing is wholly white, while the underside of the wing is pale yellow. It has blue-grey bare skin around the eye, crimson pink between the eye and bill, and a small pink area on the throat. The sexes look alike.
