Western Quail-thrush, Cinclosoma marginatum, is a passerine of the family Cinclosomatidae and breeds in western and central Australia, from western Western Australia through the Northern Territory to south-western South Australia. It lives in arid inland country, especially dry woodland with shrubs, a low understorey and stony ground. First described by Sharpe in 1883, it was separated from eastern quail-thrushes after earlier attention to variation in the western population. It is also known as the chestnut-breasted quail-thrush.
