Western Whipbird

This species is often found in moist, dense forests and thickets, where it forages for insects and small invertebrates on the forest floor. The Western Whipbird is known for its striking black and white plumage, with a long, slender tail and a distinctive white cheek patch. This species is considered a medium-sized bird, measuring around 25-30 centimeters in length. The conservation status of the Western Whipbird is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
