Wetar Oriole, Oriolus finschi, is a bird of the Lesser Sundas, breeding on Wetar and Atauro, north of Timor. It belongs to the family Oriolidae. Its range is limited to these islands in Australasia. The species was first described by Hartert, EJO, in 1904. It is treated as a distinct species, having once been placed with the Timor oriole in the olive-brown oriole group. Its recorded habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest and subtropical or tropical mangrove forest.
