Whiskered Flowerpecker, Pachyglossa propria, is a bird of montane Mindanao in the southern Philippines, where it lives in tropical moist forest and along forest edges. It is a member of the flowerpecker family and was first described by Ripley and Rabor in 1966. It is the only species in its genus. The bird is closely tied to mistletoe flowers, and it is also associated with fruiting and flowering trees. Its range is limited, but it is said to remain locally common in suitable places.
