Onychorhynchidae — Royal Flycatchers & Allies
Whiskered Myiobius, Myiobius barbatus, is a passerine of Amazonia in South America, where it occurs across the Amazon basin. It lives in humid lowland rainforest and also in heavily altered former forest. The bird has olive upperparts, a yellow rump, a hidden yellow crown patch, greyish-olive underparts and a pale yellow belly. Its long bristles around the bill form a basket-like shape, and the tail is black and rather rounded. It is usually quiet, though it may give a sharp psik.
