The Whiskered Treeswift (Hemiprocne comata) is a species of treeswift found in Southeast Asia. It is known for its distinctive whiskers and long, slender body. These birds are adept at catching insects in flight and are often seen gliding gracefully through the forest canopy. The Whiskered Treeswift is predominantly brown in color with a white throat and distinctive whiskers. It is a highly specialized arboreal species, rarely descending to the ground. These birds are often found in lowland forests and wooded areas, where they build their nests in the branches of tall trees. The Whiskered Treeswift is not currently considered to be at risk and is classified as 'Least Concern' by the IUCN.
