White-bellied Cinclodes, Cinclodes palliatus, is a bird of high-altitude marshy grassland in central Peru, with its range in the Junín Region and possible records from Huancavelica. It belongs to the ovenbird family and is a very large member of its genus. Its upper plumage is dark, while the underparts are white. The species is tied to boggy ground with cushion plants, crags and rocky slopes nearby, and it is known from a narrow strip of mountain habitat near the snowline.
