Coracina larvata
The White-bellied Cuckooshrike (Coracina larvata) is a medium-sized bird found in the forests and woodlands of Southeast Asia. It is known for its distinctive black and white plumage, with a striking white belly and black upperparts. This species is known for its melodious and varied calls, often heard during the breeding season. White-bellied Cuckooshrikes are insectivorous, feeding on a variety of insects and occasionally small fruits. They are often observed foraging in the mid to upper levels of the forest canopy. Although not currently considered globally threatened, habitat loss and fragmentation pose potential threats to their populations.
